Technology has made possible some incredible objects – but it is designers, like the skilled artists at Reddish Design Studio, who make the beauty of those objects possible.
Such is the case with this mind-blowing 3D printed vase, named “China?” after the texture of the materials used. Surely, such an object would be an impressive masterpiece of sculpture if made with real porcelain but the fluid form of the abstract vase proved no obstacle to the printing machine. Reddish describes the crisp white sculpture as a nod to the question of what the future has in store for handcrafted objects.
Surreal and thought provoking, the China? Vase would make a spectacular focal point in any room.
