Toronto artist Michael Madjus draws inspiration from his eclectic experience in a variety of creative fields ranging from fashion to photography. His ceramics are especially exciting – plant and animal motifs, captured with abundant personality and worked into functional forms for the modern home.
The Giraffe and Hippo Bud Vases are just adorable and look useful too. Playful little birds sit perched atop each glossy white vase adding the ideal punch of color.
Perfect for flowers and little succulents but don’t discount their multifaceted design. The giraffe’s ears and ossicones would hold bracelets or necklaces nicely while the hippo’s wide mouth could make a lovely home for rings and pretties.
