Why is it important to go to college?
I am just carrying this out persuasive speech on why its crucial that you go to college and I use the basics down like finding a better job should you, generating money, having the college experiance.. however I need more.. it needs to be 5 minutes long and that I only have 2. :( Help?? What should i do ? and Why is it important to go to college?
Answer Why is it important to go to college?:
It generally puts people more in charge of their own lives. You gain knowledge you need to get by in your life, not just while at work but otherwise. As an example, you end up with a better understanding of the way the government works and may become a more informed voter. You realize the commercial system better and can make smarter investment choices. You already know science better and may make smarter health choices than those who didn't go to college. You develop problem-solving skills that can assist you in most of your relationships, not just your job.
Another economic factor is that in most of the more recent recessions (including this most recent one), college graduates lose their jobs at a lesser rate than others without degrees. I'm not sure where things stand now, but a year ago I heard that those without degrees were let go at twice the rate of college grads.
That's the best answer that got the vote from YA. And just in my opinion, is it very important to go to college. But if you have the other skill, you can take course or other to practice the skill, and make more money with your skill.
