Nokia's CEO, Stephen Elop , has shown the first smartphone powered by the Finnish company's operating system Windows Phone Microsoft. The highly anticipated "event", if it can be defined, occurred during a business meeting. Before unveiling the present terminal, Elop has clearly asked not to take photos and shoot videos not because "the company does not want to see him on the blog."
Unfortunately for Nokia, and the images that the videos have already been around the world within minutes, from the Hungarian site technetblog . From the pictures you can clearly see a design very similar to that of the recent Nokia N9 , based on Meego .
The prototype, known as Sea Ray , has a black frame, Gorilla Glass display and a 8 Megapixel Carl Zeiss camera with LED flash positioned differently than the Nokia N9. There are other details, but if the hardware equipment will be equal to that of the terminal Meego, the next generation of Windows phone may no longer be bound to the specifications imposed by Microsoft.
This anticipation donated by Elop also means that the 26 October will almost certainly be the date of the official announcement. We recall that Italy is one of six countries chosen by Nokia to launch new smartphones on the market.
