Modern Loft Apartment in The Vitra Building

Modern Loft Apartment in The Vitra Building

Once an industrial building – redesigned in its entirety by acclaimed architect David Chipperfield in 2000 – definitely has a great location for fans of modern design. The ground floor is home to the Vitra showroom so we imagine it must have been easy to track down such appropriate interior furnishings.

The Loft Apartment in The Vitra Building features an open plan lounge and dining room, separated from the kitchen with a useful storage wall to reclaim floor space. We love that this divider does not reach the ceiling because the extra space helps maintain that bright and open atmosphere that proves so important in white design.

One of the bedrooms catches our eye in particular – the cute retro theme with polka-dot bedspread, atomic age side table, and groovy bentwood headboard. It is such a simple yet stunning composition.

We want to know which part of living in the Modern Loft Apartment in The Vitra Building would excite you the most: the proximity to the showroom, the layout of the loft, or the interior design?
