Liliane Bettencourt No guardianship for now

The Court of Cassation rejected the prospect of a possible placement under guardianship of the heir to L'Oreal Liliane Bettencourt, however, deemed necessary by medical experts .

Asked for an opinion by a judge of guardianships of Hauts-de-Seine , the highest French court told him that she was not informed of the application for guardianship filed last year by his daughter Françoise Meyers because the latter has since been withdrawn.

"In a procedure for the opening of a protective measure under investigation before the judge of guardianships (...), the discontinuance of the proceedings from the applicant terminates the proceedings," explains the public ruling by the Court.

Armistice court concluded in December

The girl and the mother broke their truce court concluded in December in an agreement, as Françoise Meyers says suspect the entourage of his mother to continue to plunder or to advise him of dubious investments.

Françoise Meyers also asked in early June to the guardianship judge to review the "mandate for future protection" signed by her mother in favor of the lawyer Pascal Wilhelm, the man who would give the management of the billionaire in case of incapacity.
