Restoration of a Victorian Terraced House

Within this Victorian Terraced House, beyond the ruggedly aged facade, is a minimalist modern interior swathed in clean lines and bright white surfaces.

Paul Archer Design worked to preserve certain period features. These historical features become focal points in an otherwise contemporary interior: classic fireplaces, recessed niches, French doors, and wide-planked floors provide a sense of context.

We love how the dove grey molding and baseboards guide the eye while providing plenty of contrast within an otherwise stark white interior. The only ornamentation comes from midcentury furnishings and folk art, a refreshing combination.

The restoration of this lovely Victorian Terraced House, as minimalist as it may seem, hides plenty of dramatic details.
