Tablet: Hp Touchpad As Sold, After the Ipad

Technology blog from Bangladesh

The battle began in the area of the tablet for some times and, perhaps, this is the case of throwing a little sums. The major international manufacturer propose the solutions which differ both of the technical configuration for the software bundle. Hewlett Packard , with its tablet HP TouchPad from $ 99 based on WebOS , gets the second place in the ranking of sales in the U.S., putting before the series Galaxy Tab by Samsung placed at third place. Apple is the company that dominates the current standing.
For HP , the estimate sales talk for about 17% in a period between January and October 2011 (compared to 16% of Samsung). This result is probably partly due to the discount for policy that the U.S. company wanted to pursue during the promotion campaign and launch of its tablet. According to some surveys, the share of total sales of non-Apple’s tablet, touching the 1.2 million pieces . It is not so straightforward to compare this result with those obtained as Apple iPad, Galaxy Tab and HP TouchPad, for example, have not been on sale for the entire year.

In addition, as reported by Stephen Baker – NPD’s analyst, who has purchased a non-Apple tablet has not shown at all, nor attracted much regret by the jewel of Apple, a sign that a large group of consumers are looking for alternatives, an opportunity for the rest of the market to grow their business. Going down to fourth place, is Asus with its Eee Pad Transformer TF101 which has led the company to win 10% of the market.
Motorola follows by 9% as Acer , although it was latter in its lineup including equip’s model with the Windows 7 operating system . It is also interesting to note that the third of revenue in the tablet marketing during this year is on the sale of accessories including the most popular accessories seem to be cases and screen protectors that cover about all sales accessories.
