How would you create distinct living and working areas within an open plan loft? The creative Loft FOR renovation by adn Architecture demonstrates a modular, multidimensional solution.
Two metallic structures flank the kitchen, each wrapped in a paper-thin staircase – a home office atop one and a beautiful minimalistic bedroom over the other. Perforated metal walls flood these elevated areas with light while maintaining a sense of quiet separation.
The bottom half of each structure lacks perforation for complete privacy. These areas hide the laundry room and bathroom.
The modular elements provide nearly all the decoration this apartment needs, with a sleek contemporary kitchen unit completing the composition. Raw concrete pillars and light wooden furniture are all that punctuate the pure white interior.
Truly, the Loft FOR is one of our favorite examples of using modular rooms within the home – an efficient (and attractive!) use of space.
